Dr. Amy Chadburn, a hematopathologist with over 20 years of diagnostic experience, has over 200 peer reviewed papers and 25 book chapters/review articles, including in the WHO Classification of Tumours of Hematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissues, 5th Edition. She has been the Director/Assistant Director of the Immunopathology Laboratory at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell (NYPH-WCM; 1994-2008), the Director of the Immunohistochemistry Laboratory at Northwestern Memorial Hospital (2008-2014) and is currently Vice Chairman of Quality and Clinical Services at WCM. She has been actively been involved in education as Program Director of Residency, Hematopathology Fellowships and Medical Student Rotations and through other activities including courses at American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) and the Neoplastic Hematopathology Course. She has been on the Education Committees for ASCP and USCAP. She is on the editorial boards of The Journal of Histochemistry and Cytochemistry, Archives of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine and Modern Pathology. Dr. Chadburn is part of the AIDS Malignancy Consortium (AMC) Lymphoma Committee and preforms central review of the AIDS Cancer Specimen Resource/AMC lymphoma cases and is a member of the Alliance central pathology lymphoma review committee. She has been recognized as a “Best Doctor” by US News and World Report and Castle Connelly. Her research is focused on immunodeficiency-related lymphoproliferative lesions, however, she also is involved in research in other hematopoietic malignancies collaborating with many researchers in lymphoma/leukemia. She has served on several ad hoc NIH grant review committees for immunodeficiency and tissue banking.
