Dr. Samuel Yamshon is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine, where he has a dual appointment in the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy Program and the Lymphoma Program. His clinical and research focus is on CAR T-cell therapy for B-cell lymphomas, and he is the principal investigator of several investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored studies of novel combinations and cellular therapy products in this space. He is also dedicated to translational science and is the clinical director of Weill Cornell's CAR T Biobank, where he collaborates with his Laboratory colleagues to assess for predictors of CAR T response, resistance, and toxicity. Dr. Yamshon is a recipient of the ASCO Conquer Cancer Foundation Young Investigator Award and the Lymphoma Research Foundation Scientific Research Mentorship Award. He is particularly interested in the role of epigenetics as a therapeutic target for enhancing the efficacy of T-cell immunotherapies.
